Croeso i’n gwefan. Mawr obeithiaf y cewch fwynhad o bori drwy ein gwefan lle cewch flas ar yr holl gyfleoedd a gweithgareddau darparwn i’n disgyblion. Ddathlwch gyda ni llwyddiannau ein disgyblion gweithgar a thalentog. Ymhyfrydwn yn ethos ofalgar yr Ysgol lle mae pwyslais ar les ein disgyblion yn sicrhau eu bod yn gwneud cynnydd ac yn cyflawni eu potensial. Mae brwdfrydedd, egni ac ymroddiad staff yn adlewyrchu’r ymrwymiad i addysg cyfrwng Cymraeg. Mae bod yn ddwyieithog yn agor drysau i ddiwylliant cyfoethog yn y ddwy iaith, ac yn ehangu cyfleoedd i'n disgyblion yn lleol, yn genedlaethol ac yn rhyngwladol. Ymhyfrydwn yn sefydlu ein hysgol a’i le yng Nghasnewydd, Dinas ar dwf ,ac mae holl aelodau presennol yr ysgol yn ymwybodol o’n cyfrifoldeb i sicrhau llwyddiant Ysgol Gyfun Gwent Is Coed yn yr unfed ganrif ar hugain. Head Teacher's Welcome
Welcome you to our website. I very much hope that you will enjoy browsing through our website and that you will gain an insight into all the opportunities and activities available to our pupils. We celebrate the successes of our talented and industrious pupils and pride ourselves on the caring ethos of the school in which the welfare of our pupils is paramount. This forms the foundation that will enable them to happily progress through the school and realise their potential. Being fluent in both Welsh and English allows our students to enjoy the rich cultures of both languages, as well as enhancing the career opportunities available to them in the local community, within Wales and further afield. We also take great pride in establishing the school and our place in Newport a thriving city. All members of the school realise their responsibility to further enhance the opportunities for the next generation of twenty first century learners at Ysgol Gyfun Gwent is Coed.
